About

  • On August 23, 1961, the WKU Board of Regents gave their approval for the establishment of the national fraternities and sororities.  By the spring of 1964, eight locals had received permission to affiliate with national organizations and others followed their lead.  Over the past 45 years, we have grown to 31 active fraternities and sororities with an average of 1500 members per year.  Our community consistently produces outstanding student leaders across all areas of campus, and we hold high standards for academic achievement, leadership development, and community service.
